Step 3 : texturing

Tune the texturing slider (the left one) to add back details or textures without adding back noise. It adds back regularities that appear in what was removed in the previous filtering (like lines and spots). The color images below show the texturing step results, while the gray images show what was added back from previous surfacing results in the calculation, for 3 values on 3 parts of the demo image.

Advanced tuning : the right slider progressively adds back all removed pixels to retrieve some granularity, without adding back strong variations, possibly organised as lines or spots.

Advanced tuning : depending on the kind of noise you have, you can play with the "Chroma modes", to avoid chroma artifact to be considered as images details. Here are three examples (with a strong tuning to be demonstrative) :
